This came home in Dylan's backpack this week, and it made my heart smile.

In a month, he'll turn 8. How much longer do I have that he'll write about how much he loves his mom? Many more years, I hope!

Michelle: Every family has a story - this is ours. Andrew and I have been married almost 13 years, and together for 18. We live in the northern VA 'burbs somewhere between normal and pandemonium. We have two active little boys, and life is never, ever dull. Dylan is almost 10, and Logan is 6 1/2. My days, my nights, my life, are spent at home with them, juggling homework and room mom duties while trying to keep us healthy, fed, sane, active and above all, laughing. Every day is a quivering cornucopia of jokes, spills, celebrations, bloody knees and total disasters. It’s a hectic life, full of belly laughs, sometimes tears, and a million moments of deep pride. It’s exactly what I always wanted.
