Today is picture day at school. Does Dylan look like he's ready for college, or what? He already has a second loose tooth. Slow down buddy, you're getting too big!
Also, I totally forgot to mention our little adventure last weekend into DC. We went to the small but very kid-friendly National Aquarium, and the Insect Zoo at the Museum of Natural History. Dylan got to hold a giant green caterpillar, and we got to see them feed the tarantulas. Very exciting stuff! Since visiting the Insect Zoo and seeing the living bee hive, Dylan is trying to convince us how fun it would be to open our very own bee farm here at our house, so we could eat as much honey as we like.
Today after school we are heading to the lake house, for what promises to be a sunny and cool weekend. Fishing, boating and hanging with Grandma and Gramdpa, what could be better than that? Stay tuned for lake photos Monday..
