Yesterday morning, we drove an hour west through the quaint Virginia hilly horse country towns of Middleburg and Upperville, and enjoyed a few hours at the
Deleplane Strawberry Festival at
Sky Meadows State Park. We met our good friends there, and the kids enjoyed some good old fashioned fair games, a petting zoo, and of course, yummy strawberry desserts. And maybe a funnel cake.
We had a nice picnic after plopping down under a huge shade tree, too. A great summer day with wonderful friends. We'll mark our calendar to go back next year, for sure.
And for those who were there, I bid you a very fuzzy, wooly sac.
